    Description / Table of Contents: Sr2CuO3 was prepared and the structure determined by investigation of single crystal X-ray patterns. It has an orthorhombic symmetry. The space group is D252h - Immm with a = 12,68, b = 3,91 and c = 3,48 Å. Sr2CuO3 shows isolated endless Cu/O-chains with a coplanar neighbourhood of four oxygens around copper and a trigonal oxygen neighbourhood of Sr2+. The systematical connection of the trigonal polygons building up the lattice is discussed.
    Notes: Sr2CuO3 wurde dargestellt und an Einkristallen röntgenorgaphisch untersucht. Es hat orthorhombische Symmetrie, Raumgruppe D252h - Immm, mit a = 12,688, b = 3,91 und c = 3,48 Å. Im Sr2CuO3 gibt es isolierte, eindimensionale unendliche Cu/O. Ketten, in denen das Cu2+-Ion eine quadratische und exakt planare Umegebung von O2--Ionen hat. Ketten entstehen durch die systematische Verknüpfung der trigonalen Sauerstoffprismen um Sr2+. Der Kristallbau wird eingehend diskutiert.

    Description / Table of Contents: SrCu0.75Ni0.25O2 was prepared and its crystal structure explained by x-ray diffraction dates (a = 3.565, b = 16.308 and c = 3.916 Å, space group D2h17—Cmcm). The structure of this compound is determined by the connection of trigonal prisms around Sr2+ which is characteristic for earth-alkaline oxocuprates, and square plane configurations of O2- around Cu2+. The lattice is penetrated by double ribbons of connected squares. The structure of SrCu0.75Ni0.25O2 stands between those of CaCu2O3 and Sr2CuO3.
    Notes: Die Verbindung SrCu0,75Ni0,25O2 wurde dargestellt und an Einkristall-Röntgenbeugungsdaten die Kristallstruktur aufgeklärt (a = 3,565, b = 16,308 und c = 3,916 Å, Raumgruppe D2h17—Cmem). Die für Erdalkalimetalloxocuprate charakteristische Verknüpfung trigonaler Prismen um Sr2+ und quadratisch ebene Konfigurationen von O2- um Cu2+ bestimmen auch den Aufbau dieser Verbindung. Das Kristallgitter wird von Doppelbändern ebener, über je zwei gemeinsame Kanten verknüpfter „Sauerstoffvierecke“ durchzogen. SrCu0,75Ni0,25O2 ist strukturell zwischen CaCu2O3 und Sr2CuO3 einzuordnen.

    Description / Table of Contents: The compound CaGa4O7 was prepared and its structure determined by single crystal x-ray investigations. CaGa4O7 crystallizes monoclinic in the space group C62h—C2/c with the lattice constants a = 13.065, b = 9.079, c = 5.600 Å; β = 105.15°. Calcium has an unusual coordination. Its five nearest oxygen neighbours form a trigonal bipyramide. The gallium, however, is tetrahedrally coordinated.
    Notes: Die Verbindung CaGa4O7 wurde dargestellt und ihre Struktur mit Hilfe von Einkristallen röntgenographisch bestimmt. CaGa4O7 kristallisiert monoklin in der Raumgruppe C62h—C2/c mit den Gitterkonstanten a = 13,065, b = 9,079, c = 5,600 Å; β = 105,15°. Ungewöhnlich ist die Sauerstoffkoordination des Calciums, die man als verzerrte, trigonale Bipyramide auffassen kann, während Gallium tetraedrisch koordiniert vorliegt.

    Description / Table of Contents: On a new alkaline earth metal oxoindate: Sr2In2O5The hitherto unknown compound Sr2In265 was prepared and investigated by X-Ray single crystal methods. Sr2In2O5 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group C2v22-Ibm2 (a = 6.049, b = 15.84, c = 0.81 Å). It is isotypic with Ca2FeAlO5, (Brown-millerite).
    Notes: Die Verbindung Sr2In2O5 wurde dargestellt und an Einkristallen röntgenographisch untersucht. Sr2In2O5 kristallisiert orthorhombisch in der Raumgruppe C2v22-Ibm2 mit den Gitterkonstanten a = 6,049, b = 15,84, c = 5,81 Å. Sr2In2O5 ist nicht wie zu erwarten mit Ca2Fe2O5, sondern mit Ca2FeAlO5 (Brownmillerit) isotyp.

Space group D2h13-Pmmn. SrCr2O4 shows a hitherto unknown crystal type. Cr3+ is octahedrally and Sr2+ trigonal prismatic surrounded by oxygen.

    Description / Table of Contents: About Ag6(SO4)(SiO4)Hitherto unknown Ag6(SO4)(SiO4) has been prepared at 400-500°C under an oxygen pressure more than 1000 atm. By single crystal X-ray work the structure of tetragonal Ag6(SO4)(SiO4) has been elucidated: a = 7.060, c = 17.660 Å; D4h19-141/amd; Z = 4. The crystal structure shows a new type in which the tetrahedrally sulfat- and silicat groups are definite distinguishable. As well the both crystallographic silver positions show a different crystal-chemical character.
    Notes: Neu dargestellt wurde Ag6(SO4)(SiO4) bei 400-500°C unter einem Sauerstoffdruck größer als 1000 atm. Nach röntgenographischen Untersuchungen der rubinroten Einkristalle kristallisiert die Verbindung tetragonal: a = 7,060, c = 17,660 Å; D4h19-141/amd; Z = 4. Die Kristallstruktur von Ag6(SO4)(SiO4) stellt einen neuen Strukturtyp dar, worin die tetraedrischen Sulfat- und Silicatgruppen deutlich unterscheidbar sind. Ebenso weisen die beiden kristallographischen Silberpositionen verschiedenartige kristallchemische Charaktere auf.
