    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Die Curie-Punkt-Pyrolyse (CPP) und die hochauflösende Gas-Chromatographie ist eine mögliche Methode zur Unterscheidung von Bakterien. Es wird ein einfaches und leicht zu reinigendes Einlaßsystem gezeigt, das sich sowohl für die Pyrolyse fester Stoffe als auch zum Spritzen von Proben (Ermitteln von Gütekennzahlen des Trennsystems) eignet. Weil die Auflösung der Gas-Chromatographie zu niedrig ist und die Bearbeitung der komplexen Pyrogramme durch Integrationssysteme deshalb Schwierigkeiten bietet, ist die Artbestimmung eines Bakteriums nur teilweise möglich. Dies trotz eines Vergleichs der Pyrogramme nach der externen Standardmethode durch einen Rechner.
    Notes: Summary Curie-point-pyrolysis (CPP) with high-performance gasliquid chromatography is a possible means for the differentiation of bacteria. A simple inlet system is shown; it can be used for the pyrolysis of solid substances and for normal gas chromatography (for testing the column). The species of a bacterium is difficult to differentiate by pyrolysis gas chromatography because of the limited resolution of gas chromatography and as a consequence there are difficulties with the treatment of pyrograms by integration systems. This occurs even when making a comparison of pyrograms by an external standard method using a computer.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Ein Computerprogramm zum Vergleich von Probe- mit Standardpeaks wird beschrieben. Die natürlichen Fehler eines Chromatographen, wie Temperatur- oder Druck-schwankungen, werden durch eine fortlaufende Anpassung der Erkennungsfenster ausgeglichen. Diese Methode gestattet sehr schmale Zeitfenster und verhindert größtenteils Doppelidentifikationen. Eine quantitative Analyse beginnt nach der Peakzuordnung. Jeder identifizierte Probepeak wird einem Ausreißertest nach Nalimov unterzogen. Zuletzt wird ein Vergleich der Flächen benützt, um eine quantitative Beziehung zwischen Probe und Standard zu erreichen.
    Notes: Summary A computer program is described which allows the comparison of sample peaks with those of a standard. The errors produced by the chromatograph due to instability of inlet pressure or temperature are corrected by a consecutive adaption of time-windows of standard peaks. This method makes it possible to keep the time-windows for peak identification very small and to eliminate double identifications to a great extent. Quantitative analysis follows peak identification. Each sample peak has to pass a Nalimov test. A comparison of peak areas is finally used to establish a quantitative relation between sample and standard.

    Notes: Polydiethylene glycol adipate (DEGA) has been successfully used as stationary phase for residue analysis by glass capillary gas chromatography. A specially stabilized version of the phase yields a good polar column which is stable up to 250°C when used in temperature programmed cycles. The paper lists 90 pesticides that have been successfully chromatographed in ng quantities on a DEGA column.
