Summary The separation of blood cells using continuous carrierfree flow electrophoresis in 3 different buffersystems (tris-citrate-saccharose, tris-glycine and phosphate-saccharose) is described. The purification of the erythrocytes and granulocytes was complete, while the lymphocytes fraction was partly contaminated by erythrocytes and granulocytes. The vitality tests using phagocytose and staining methods and in addition the morphological examination of the separated cell material resulted 70–80% of the cells beeing vital.

Zusammenfassung Es wird über die Auftrennung von Blutzellen mit Hilfe der trägerfreien Ablenkungselektrophorese in 3 verschiedenen Puffersystemen (Tris-Citrat-Rohrzucker, Tris-Glycin und Phosphat-Rohrzucker) beschrieben. Dabei gelang die Reindarstellung der Erythrocyten und Granulocyten, während die Lymphocytenfraktion noch mit Erythrocyten und zum Teil mit Granulocyten vermischt war. Die mit Hilfe der Phagocytose- und Farbstoffmethode durchgeführten Vitalitätsteste, sowie die morphologische Beurteilung des getrennten Zellmaterials ergab, daß 70–80% der Zellen vital erhalten werden konnten. Die Monocyten zeigen eine elektrische Membranladung, die um ein weniges geringer ist als jene der Granulocyten.
